This project is a part of the π Pilled collection and has two core parts:
βPill - A steel capsule for storing the Ledger hardware wallet. βPillow - A base on which the Pill rests on. β The Pillow serves as the canvas for generative design and algorithmic paint job, and is where we will be focusing on.

The core of this generative design relies on topology optimisation, a process that begins with a virtual block and methodically removes material while maintaining structural integrity. This iterative reduction continues until an optimal, structurally sound form emerges.
This collection captures this iterative process in 30 snapshots. Each Iteration is minted as a 1/1 piece, documenting the emergence of natural forms through machine optimisation.

Each Iteration is hand-painted according to a unique set of instructions produced by a generative algorithm (seeded by the transaction hash). The core method employed is paint flicking, and utilises various tools and parameters to create distinctive patterns and textures.
It's like paint-by-numbers for an inept artist, but we like to pass it off as injecting controlled randomness and human chaos into the final output.

The 30 Iterations will be sequentially listed for auction, using standard auction contract from Manifold. Each auction will be start at 0.11 eth. β Once the reserve price is met, a 24-hour countdown for the auction will start. When the auction ends, the transaction hash of the auction settlement will be used as the seed for the generative script.

The winning bidder will be able to claim a physical print produced by us, HASHΒ INC., with free international shipping*. The physical print includes:
The Pill - machined from raw steel and finished with Renaissance wax. The Pillow - Off white nylon printed with SLS 3D Printing.
The token holder will have the option to order subsequent prints from us for a reasonable fee. The number of prints will be marked against the token's metadata.

In this project, my aim is to reveal and highlight the intriguing process of topology based generative design. By capturing various stages of the iterative process and solidifying them into physical forms, my hope is that collectors can connect and own a tangible part of this creation process.
We've mashed together machine design, algorithmic art, and the quaint touch of human craft. The resulting set of design blueprints lives immutably on the blockchain, so that physical representations can be crafted in perpetuity. Yet, each physical print, infused with the inherent unpredictability of human chaos, will always be unique.
